Agency Manager – Poitiers
Position Summary:
Reporting to the France Director, you will be responsible for managing an agency made up of naturalist study officers. Your mission will be to coordinate the team and meet the agency’s needs — logistical, human, and commercial — in connection with the five other agencies located across France, in accordance with the company’s values, principles, and processes.
Management Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of naturalist study officers (1 to 10 people).
- Oversee naturalist expertise for several projects simultaneously (logistics, scheduling, technical expertise, transmission of raw data to clients) autonomously.
- Organize your own work in coordination with your direct manager.
Commercial Responsibilities:
- Conduct business development with existing clients and prospects.
- Draft environmental study proposals and submit them to clients with the aim of securing new projects.
- Manage and maintain client relationships.
- Issue and track invoices.
Environmental Responsibilities:
- Identify overall issues related to studies (anticipating difficulties, implementing solutions).
- Analyze survey results and studies, produce cartography using QGIS, and write reports.
- Proofread reports written by team members, and finalize studies by integrating client feedback.
Networking Responsibilities:
- Organize and/or participate in internal and external meetings (with regulatory authorities, clients, etc.).
- Consult with experts, associations, or partners.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, etc.
- Take part in scientific monitoring within your areas of expertise.
Profile Sought:
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) with experience in a similar position or at least 5 years of experience as a project manager, ideally in the wind and/or photovoltaic energy sectors.
- Good awareness of wildlife conservation issues preferred.
- Knowledge of the wind and/or photovoltaic sectors and/or the ICPE regulatory framework highly appreciated.
- Organized and meticulous, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong client relationship skills.
- Good balance between teamwork and initiative/autonomy.
- Strong sense of responsibility and organizational skills.
- Valid category B driver’s license required.
Type of contract: Permanent contract (CDI)
Location: 5 bis place de la mairie, 86360 Montamisé, France
Salary: €40K to €50K depending on experience, plus performance-based bonus.
Benefits: 50% contribution to health insurance, €8/day meal vouchers, 50% reimbursement of public transport subscription, option to work from home 1 day per week, company mobile phone, company savings plan, annualized working days contract (offering approximately 2 extra weeks of rest in addition to the standard 25 days of paid leave).
A company car may be offered depending on the proposed salary package.
