TrackBird is an autonomous bird activity detection system using cameras. It is self-sufficient in terms of energy and storage, allowing continuous data acquisition from sunrise to sunset (customizable) over several months. This enables the definition and characterization of avian-related issues linked to a wind energy project over a wide time frame. It is a robust and objective tool, ideal for wind farm development phases, which can be used alone or in combination with a traditional approach based on field observations by ornithologists in an impact study.

TrackBird relies on advanced Artificial Intelligence technology (non-embedded – data post-processed) known as Convolutional Neural Network, widely used in the field of computer vision. Our neural networks are constantly improved through supervised machine learning.
