Study and Monitor Birds and Bats

Radar technology enables the detection and tracking of flying animals of all sizes, both day and night, at long ranges, regardless of visibility conditions.

To address the challenges of monitoring bird and bat activity over large distances (including migration tracking), Sens Of Life has developed a radar platform and data processing algorithm that combines two types of radar. This facilitates trajectory evaluation, allowing the characterization of group sizes, activity levels, and major flows in three dimensions.

Sens Of Life is currently working on integrating this solution for dynamic wind farm regulation, which is particularly relevant for offshore wind farms.
