Field Ecologists – Wildlife Monitoring on Wind Farms
Sens Of Life, a biodiversity consultancy specialized in renewable energy, is looking for new Field Ecologists to carry out wildlife monitoring on wind farms in Reims, Amiens, and Rennes.
🔹 Contract: 7-month fixed-term (May to November 2025)
🔹 Sector: Biodiversity / Ecological services
🔹 Education: 2-year degree in ecology or equivalent (e.g., BTS GPN preferred)
🔹 Location: Reims, Amiens, and Rennes
Main responsibilities:
• Monitor bird and bat mortality on operational wind farms
• Conduct environmental impact assessments ahead of new wind and solar farm installations, including a variety of field surveys (flora and fauna)
• Draft reports, collect, and transmit field data
Profile:
• Autonomous and well-organized
• Scientific rigor and initiative
• Enjoy fieldwork and regular travel
• Valid driver’s license (category B) required
